CALL FOR POSTERS - Young ARS group

During the Sixth International Workshop on Social Network Analysis ARS'17 which will take place on 15-17 May 2017 in Naples (Italy), the Young ARS group will organize a poster track that will provide Ph.D. students and young researchers in the field of social network analysis with a forum for presenting their innovative work in progress and receiving feedback on their on-going research. Researchers are invited to submit a poster according to the ARS'17 contributed sessions themes and to the following deadlines.

DEADLINES

Title and short abstract submission  February 12, 2017
Notification of acceptance                    February 19, 2017
Poster exhibition                                    May 15-17, 2017

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

To submit an abstract go to http://www.ars17.unisa.it/submission
All submissions should include a title, author information and abstract text (not exceeding 300 words). Please, note that registration and payment of workshop registration fee are compulsory for at least one author of each poster before March 19, 2017.
 
Accepted posters will be included into the "speed poster session", a lightning talk to promote posters during the conference. They will also be enrolled into the competition for the Best Poster Award.

Furthermore, extended papers based on the posters will be encouraged to be submitted to the special issue of the Italian Journal of Applied Statistics ( http://sa-ijas.stat.unipd.it/it) on "Analysing Social Networks: Methods and Applications" (guest editors: A. Ferligoj, M.P. Vitale, D. De Stefano and L. Kronegger).

More information on the speed poster session and the special issue will be provided to the authors of the accepted submissions.
